Routine blood glucose testing can be tiresome. The innovations in medicine and technology have enabled us to perform tests in the comfort of our home. The One-Touch Delica Lancing Device is designed to make your testing experience a pleasant one. The packaging of the product comes in a cardboard box with a user manual. The lancing device is a pen-like structure. One end has a cap and the other has a depth wheel that rotates. The device enables the user to choose the depth of the needle. Setting-1 is the shallow and the depth increase in an incremental fashion.  The sliding cocking feature ensures that the device is safe to be used. The device has a blue button that enables the needle to puncher the skin. The lancing device appeals to both men and women of all age groups. The device is intended for a single user.

How to use:

• Rinse your hand and pat dry

• To remove the cap, turn it in an anti-clockwise direction until it stops and pulls it off the device

• Align the sterile lancet and gently push until it snaps to ensure that it is attached to the holder

• Twist the protective cover of the lancet to remove the lancet cover

• Replace the cap of the lancing device by turning it clockwise. Do not overdo it

• Choose the depth setting and slide the cocking control until it clicks to ensure that the device is ready to be used

• Place the lancing device to the side of the user’s finger and press the blue button when you are ready

• Massage towards the fingertip to extract the blood sample

• To sanitize the lancing device, wipe it with alcohol dipped cloth or spirit

• Store the product away from sunlight in a cool, dry place  

• Do not re-use the same test strip or lancet

• Keep the device away from the reach of children

• Discard the used lancet needle appropriately in a surgical bin to encourage recycling

• Sanitize the lancing device after every use

• The device is made of a plastic body. The user is recommended to keep it away from a possible fire
